Softball Game Preview: Milano Eagles vs. Shiner Comanches

The Milano Eagles will take on the Shiner Comanches on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Milano is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Junction a 5-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Shiner made easy work of Falls City on Thursday and carried off a 12-2 win. The Comanches might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 23 matches by six runs or more this season.

Milano's victory bumped their record up to 15-9-1. As for Shiner, their win bumped their record up to 25-5.

Milano couldn't quite get it done against Shiner when the teams last played back in April of 2019 as they fell 5-1. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
