Volleyball Game Preview: Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers vs. Mascenic Regional Vikings

The Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers will head out to take on the Mascenic Regional Vikings at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hollis-Brookline has 12 straight victories, Mascenic Regional has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Hollis-Brookline is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Stark, who was ranked ninth at the time (Hollis-Brookline was ranked first). The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday.

Meanwhile, Mascenic Regional came up short against Salem on Friday and fell 3-1.

Mascenic Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hollis-Brookline, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Hollis-Brookline beat Mascenic Regional 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
