Lutheran is a perfect 6-0 against Air Academy since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lions will square off against the Kadets at 6:00 p.m. Lutheran will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Lutheran barely beat Cheyenne Mountain the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red-Tailed Hawks on Tuesday.

While Lutheran won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Air Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Lewis-Palmer on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Kadets in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Air Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Everything went Lutheran's way against Air Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Lutheran made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Kadets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
