Recap: Ottoville Big Green vs. St. Henry Redskins
The Ottoville Big Green suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 72-48 walloping at the hands of St. Henry. Ottoville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Henry apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Luke Beyke was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and two steals for St. Henry. Beyke hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Evan Bowers was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Ottoville's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for St. Henry, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
Ottoville and Fort Jennings will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Fort Jennings is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for St. Henry, St. Henry and New Bremen will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. New Bremen will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 437th, while St. Henry is ranked 156th).
