Basketball Recap: Luray Piles Up the Points Against Stonewall Jackson

Luray had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 36-point drubbing they dealt Stonewall Jackson on Friday. The Luray Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Stonewall Jackson Generals 55-19. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-15 back in January.

Luray has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Stonewall Jackson, they are on a 39-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luray will take on Central Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stonewall Jackson, they will head out to challenge Clarke County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Clarke County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
