Center Grove not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Bloomington South Panthers 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won eight in a row.

While Center Grove won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 28-26, 25-19.

Gabby Gilliard paced Center Grove's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gilliard got some help from Anabelle Schembra and her 38 assists. Izzy Maryan controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Center Grove's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Bloomington South, they moved to 20-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Center Grove will venture away from home to take on Jennings County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bloomington South, they will head out to square off against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
