Softball Recap: Warden Comes Up Short

Warden was the 12-7 winner over Cle Elum-Roslyn when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Thursday.

Warden has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warden will host Lake Roosevelt at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, they will be playing at home against Chelan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors are facing the Mountain Goats at the right time seeing as the Mountain Goats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
