Sweetwater waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Pigeon Forge Tigers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sweetwater pushed their record up to 22-9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pigeon Forge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-13-2.

Looking ahead, Sweetwater will square off against Huntingdon on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 4.1, the Mustangs 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Pigeon Forge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
