Basketball Game Preview: South Point Red Raiders vs. Forest Hills Yellow Jackets + How To Watch

The South Point Red Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Point has given up an average of 70.5 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, South Point came up short against Catawba Ridge and fell 66-53. While the Red Raiders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Copperheads 15-5 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Forest Hills didn't have too much trouble with Sun Valley on Tuesday as they won 74-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellow Jackets.

This is the second loss in a row for South Point and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Forest Hills, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for South Point against Forest Hills when the teams last played back in December of 2022, as the team secured an 82-43 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
