Volleyball Recap: Hinsdale Central Falls Despite Big Games from Rudra Patel and Ken Reodica

The Hinsdale Central Red Devils didn't have quite enough to beat Non Varsity Opponent on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Ken Reodica and Rudra Patel certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Reodica had 15 digs and one assist, while Patel had ten assists and four digs. Landyn Perona also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Hinsdale Central has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Hinsdale Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Riverside-Brookfield at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will square off against First Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 12th.
