Basketball Game Preview: Leonia Lions vs. Park Ridge Owls

Leonia is on a five-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Park Ridge is on a three-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Leonia Lions will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Park Ridge Owls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Leonia is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They took a blow against Glen Rock on Tuesday, falling 53-19.

Meanwhile, Park Ridge didn't have too much trouble with Becton on Tuesday as they won 46-31.

Leonia suffered a grim 63-43 defeat to Park Ridge in their previous matchup back in January. Can Leonia avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
