Leading Ponaganset to victory were Anastasia Nerney and Jaina Yekelchik. Nerney scored 12 points along with six steals, while Yekelchik scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Yekelchik is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Simoneau, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Juanita Sanchez Complex bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Ponaganset, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.
