Baseball Recap: Holden Comes Up Short

Holden was the 10-9 winner over Knob Noster when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 5-2 to the Panthers on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holden's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Knob Noster, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Holden and Knob Noster should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Eagles will take on Lafayette County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (153 vs. 395). Meanwhile, Knob Noster (ranked 94th) will meet Lexington (ranked 367th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
