Rancho Dominguez came into Friday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Gardena Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on April 2nd.

While Rancho Dominguez might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Gardena scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 20-25, 25-21.

Rancho Dominguez's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Gardena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
