Basketball Game Preview: Madison Blue Streaks vs. Berkshire Badgers

The Madison Blue Streaks are taking a road trip to challenge the Berkshire Badgers at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

On Saturday, Madison earned a 67-58 victory over St. Martin de Porres.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berkshire). They breezed by Cardinal to the tune of 72-44 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Badgers have posted since January 7th.

Madison pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Berkshire, their win bumped their record up to 4-16.

Madison was able to grind out a solid victory over Berkshire in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 70-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madison since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
