But make no mistake,
Trey Quinn was a certified star in high school.
The 6-foot, 200-pound wide receiver, who attended
Barbe (Lake Charles, La.) in high school and SMU in college, was the final pick of the draft Saturday, the 256th selection overall for the Washington Redskins.
He may have been last in the draft, but he finished first all-time in high school receiving yards, breaking the national career mark of Dorial Green-Beckham.
He finished with 6,566 yards in four season to go along with 357 receptions and 70 touchdowns.
He was a MaxPreps first team All-American. Before that, Quinn's claim to fame was pitching a no-hitter in the 2008 Little League World Series. He wasn't too shabby at football in college either, catching 114 passes for 1,236 yards and 13 touchdowns in his lone season at SMU after transferring from LSU.
