Basketball Recap: Spring Valley Academy Takes a Loss

Spring Valley Academy lost against CHESS Christian back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Spring Valley Academy fell 57-49 to the CHESS Christian Royals.

CHESS Christian was led to victory by Chase Meester and Josh Huff. Meester to rack up 24 points, while Huff dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Meester's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Silas Kempe, who posted six points in addition to eight boards and six steals.

Spring Valley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for CHESS Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Spring Valley Academy nor CHESS Christian have any future games scheduled.
