Calvary Chapel was led to victory by Matthew Peters, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Peters' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards.

If the past is any indication, Peters could be in store for another big game when he takes on Estancia on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Peters saw Estancia), he rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

Jeff Brown's rushing tear continued on Thursday as he dropped his sixth-straight game with 116+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 180 yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.

The victory was the third in a row for Estancia, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Brown and Estancia will host Calvary Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Los Amigos Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Isaac Galindo

Isaac GalIndo was instrumental in extending Los Amigos's winning streak to six on Friday. Galindo was unstoppable, picking up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 53 yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 78 yards.
