Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Extends Winning Streak to Three

Fairfield waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eldorado Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mules also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fairfield was: they took both sets by at least 22 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-1, 25-3.

Their offense was headlined by Gracyn Vaughan and Jensyn Robbins, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Alexa Newman and her ten assists. Dalanie Ellis controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Eldorado, they are on a 40-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Looking ahead, Fairfield will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eldorado, they will head out to square off against Edwards County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
