McConnellsburg made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Southern Fulton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Spartans fell just short of the Indians by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. The Spartans' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

McConnellsburg saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayden Marpoe, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

McConnellsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Southern Fulton, the win keeps they at an undefeated 15-0.

Coincidentally, McConnellsburg and Southern Fulton will both be playing Fannett Metal the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face Fannett Metal at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
