Brazosport is 8-2 against Wharton since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Brazosport Exporters will head out on the road to  take on  the Wharton Tigers  at 7:00  p.m.
Brazosport is headed into Tuesday's   match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight  defeats. They were dealt  a  64-32 loss at the hands of La Marque on Friday. The Exporters were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  35-14.
Meanwhile, Wharton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They snuck past the Blackcats with  a  59-55 victory.
 Brazosport better keep an eye on  Jacoryan Dickerson. He was instrumental in Wharton's win,  dropping  a double-double on 26 points and 13  rebounds. The  contest was  Dickerson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ja'Keon Jackson, who  posted eight  points in addition to six  boards and five  steals.
 Wharton is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Brazosport, their defeat  ended  an  eight-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 18-10.
 Brazosport was able to grind out a solid  win over Wharton in their previous matchup  back in January, winning  56-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brazosport since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
