Basketball Game Preview: Charter Oak Chargers vs. Wilson Wildcats

The Charter Oak Chargers will face off against the Wilson Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Charter Oak has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 26.

On Tuesday, Charter Oak came up short against West Covina and fell 54-41.

Meanwhile, Wilson posted their closest win since December 6, 2023 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-45 victory over Covina. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Wilson is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Charter Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Charter Oak came up short against Wilson in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 68-59. Can Charter Oak avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
