Softball Game Preview: Crescent Tigers vs. Pendleton Bulldogs

The Crescent Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Pendleton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pendleton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Crescent, who comes in off a win.

Crescent's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past High Point Academy 16-0. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Pendleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-0 to Belton-Honea Path.

Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Crescent, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

Everything went Crescent's way against Pendleton in their previous matchup on April 8th, as Crescent made off with an 18-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
