Softball Recap: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. Boron Bobcats
Rosamond entered their tilt with Boron on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-14 back in April.

Priscilla Ponce and Alysia Rico did most of the damage at the plate: Ponce went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Rico went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three hits gave Rico a new career-high. Logan Castro also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Rosamond always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Boron only posted an OBP of .211.
Rosamond's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of three runs across that stretch. As for Boron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
