Softball Recap: Woden Comes Up Short

Woden and Alto squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Woden had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Woden's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Alto, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4-1.

While Woden had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
