Softball Preview: Chatfield Chargers vs. Bear Creek Bears
The Chatfield Chargers will take on the Bear Creek Bears at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Chatfield will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Chatfield is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since August 24th on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over Ralston Valley.
Kendall Davros was incredible, going 4-for-4 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Burgess, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.
Meanwhile, Bear Creek came up short against Arvada West on Wednesday, falling 11-1. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
