Volleyball Recap: LaGrange Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

LaGrange Academy entered their match against Calvary Christian on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. LaGrange Academy fell just short of Calvary Christian by a score of 3-2. If LaGrange Academy was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Calvary Christian when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, LaGrange Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 19-25, 25-21, 19-25, 15-7.

Madelyn Gaps was a one-woman wrecking crew For Calvary Christian. as she had 24 digs and four aces. Those 24 digs gave Gaps a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Blake, who had ten digs.

LaGrange Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Calvary Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

LaGrange Academy has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Central Fellowship Christian Academy on the 15th. As for Calvary Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against St. Anne-Pacelli on the 18th.
