Softball Recap: Montgomery Catholic Takes a Loss

Montgomery Catholic was the 5-0 winner over Glenwood when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights came up short against the Gators on Friday, falling 11-3.

Haley Ishman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Rylee Wilcoxson, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Montgomery Catholic's defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Glenwood, their record is now 10-16-1.

Coming up, Montgomery Catholic will square off against LAMP at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Glenwood, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Handley on the 11th.
