Basketball Game Preview: Cranston West Falcons vs. Cranston East Thunderbolts

An exciting East v. West battle is about to be fought. The Cranston West Falcons will host the Cranston East Thunderbolts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cranston West is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since February 8, 2024 on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Shea 35-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Cranston East got the win against Johnston on Tuesday by a conclusive 65-45.

The victory got Cranston East back to even at 9-9. As for Cranston West, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.

Cranston West beat Cranston East 52-44 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will Cranston West repeat their success, or does Cranston East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
