Baseball Recap: Perris Takes a Loss

Perris lost to Vista del Lago on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Ravens, falling 13-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Perris saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noe Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI was Gonzalez's first of the season.

Perris' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Vista del Lago, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Perris will take on rival Hemet at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Vista del Lago is set to face off against their familiar foe Rancho Verde at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
