Baseball Game Preview: North Summit Braves vs. Beaver Dam Diamondback

The North Summit Braves will head out on the road to face off against the Beaver Dam Diamondback at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Summit is looking for their season's first victory.

North Summit is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They lost 11-4 to Grand County on Saturday.

North Summit saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Preator, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That's the most hits Preator has posted since back in March of 2024. Kason Richins also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Meanwhile, Beaver Dam had to endure a 14-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against GV Christian on Saturday, sneaking past 8-6.

Ruger Holcomb was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Daniel Alonso-Ceja, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-2.

Beaver Dam's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for North Summit, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
