Basketball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If St. Francis was feeling good fresh off their 82-24 takedown of Pajaro Valley last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sharks were beaten by the Palma Chieftains 84-28 on Thursday. The Sharks were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 55 points in the three games prior), but the Chieftains' defense proved too tough.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Francis fell to 3-1. As for Palma, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

St. Francis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-58 win against Everett Alvarez on the 12th. As for Palma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-52 victory against Soquel on the 12th.
