Baseball Recap: River Road Takes a Loss

River Road was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Dalhart Wolves, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, with their most recent defeat being a 8-7 loss on April 8th.

River Road saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seth Underwood, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

River Road's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Dalhart, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. River Road is set to face off against their familiar foe Bushland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Dalhart will challenge rival Childress at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
