Baseball Recap: Northome/Kelliher Takes a Loss

Northome/Kelliher fell victim to Nevis and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 7-0. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Northome/Kelliher's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Nevis, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northome/Kelliher is set to take on their familiar foe Pine River-Backus at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nevis will face off against rival Walker-Hackensack-Akeley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
