Baseball Recap: Pearsall Comes Up Short

Pearsall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Floresville Tigers/Jaguars, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers/Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in March.

Pearsall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Floresville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pearsall and Floresville will both be playing Uvalde the next time they take the field. The Mavericks will host the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers/Jaguars will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
