Eastern Wayne kept a clean sheet against Goldsboro on Tuesday. They blew past the Cougars 3-0. The result was nothing new for Eastern Wayne, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Taylor Waters and Akayla (Kay) Rodriguez scored all three of Eastern Wayne's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 35 goals.

Eastern Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Goldsboro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-8-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Wayne will take on Princeton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Goldsboro, they will square off against Beddingfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Goldsboro are facing Beddingfield at the right time seeing as Beddingfield are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
