Football Recap: Granger Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Granger lost against River View back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans took a 22-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wyatt Curtis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for River View, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching one score. Curtis is becoming a predictor of the Panthers' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Granger's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for River View, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Granger is set to take on their familiar foe Warden at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, River View will challenge rival Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
