Basketball Game Preview: Thomasville Bulldogs vs. Central Davidson Spartans

Thomasville and Central Davidson are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Thomasville Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Central Davidson Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomasville is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Thomasville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were dealt a 100-69 defeat at the hands of North Rowan on Friday.

Meanwhile, Central Davidson came up short against Grimsley on Saturday and fell 60-53. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Whirlies are ranked 146th).

Thomasville's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Central Davidson, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Thomasville didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Central Davidson in their previous meeting two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory.
