Miller is 1-9 against Marionville since November of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Cardinals will square off against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Miller is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 46-0 win over Cabool. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Jaylen Madsen was his usual excellent self, rushing for 159 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 50 yards and one TD. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 100.9 rushing yards per game. Paul Nunez was another key player, picking up 90 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Miller didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Blake Walters and Madsen. Madsen also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Miller is 5-2 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Marionville waltzed into their game last Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Cardinals 45-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Comets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Cardinals are ranked 206th).
Miller better keep an eye on Bryer Guerin. He was instrumental in Marionville's win, rushing for 126 yards and three TDs. Guerin has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.
Marionville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 366 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Miller's record is now 6-4. As for Marionville, their record now sits at 8-1.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Madsen and Guerin. Madsen just won't slow down this season and has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 48.9 passing yards per game. Guerin has been a dominant force too and has averaged 59.2 passing yards per game.
Miller was taken down by Marionville 45-6 in their previous meeting last Friday. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
