Kirby's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 75-51 margin over the Mineral Springs Hornets. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Kirby is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Mineral Springs, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kirby and Poyen will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Mineral Springs, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mount Ida at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
