Softball Recap: Luling Comes Up Short

The Luling Eagles lost 15-1 to the Somerville Yeguas on Saturday.

Luling saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Williams, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Luling's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Somerville, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Luling will take on Rice Consolidated in a tournament on Thursday. As for Somerville, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Anderson-Shiro at 5:00 p.m.
