Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Clara). They really took it to MacDonald for the full four quarters, racking up an 89-61 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bruins as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Santa Clara's win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-12. As for Wilcox, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-4.

Everything came up roses for Wilcox against Santa Clara in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 69-40 win. Will Wilcox repeat their success, or does Santa Clara have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
