Carter had won five straight games and Zion Oliver did his part to make it six on Friday. The Carter Green Hornets walked away with a 76-67 win over the Pigeon Forge Tigers thanks in part to Oliver, who went 10 for 13 on his way to 24 points and six rebounds. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high.

Carter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Pigeon Forge, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

Carter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-54 victory against Knoxville Central on the 4th. As for Pigeon Forge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 85-47 defeat against Austin-East on the 4th.
