Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blair-Taylor). They blew past the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs 90-59 on Tuesday. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win was the third in a row for Blair-Taylor, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.7 points per game. As for Melrose-Mindoro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Blair-Taylor will be home for the holidays to greet Alma Center Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Blair-Taylor has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Melrose-Mindoro, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Whitehall at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
