Basketball Recap: Danvers Comes Up Short

Danvers lost to Masconomet Regional back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons took a blow against the Chieftains, falling 81-43. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Danvers still got an impressive performance from Kyle Sillars, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 23 points and six rebounds. The Falcons are 4-1 when Sillars posts 15 or more points, but 0-3 otherwise. Andrew Dos Santos also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first rebound of the season.

Danvers' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Masconomet Regional, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Danvers will venture away from home to take on Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Masconomet Regional, they will head out to square off against St. Mary's at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
