Basketball Recap: Haines Comes Up Short

Haines had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Philomath Warriors 46-17.

The win was the fourth in a row for Philomath, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haines will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Metlakatla at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Philomath also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against Crater at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
