Soccer Game Preview: Agua Fria vs. Greenway

The Agua Fria Owls will square off against the Greenway Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Agua Fria is coming into the matchup on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They won by a goal and slipped past ALA - Queen Creek 5-4. Five seems to be a good number for the Owls as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit ALA - Queen Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Junior Noel Lognjinu (2), Jonathon Bojorquez (2), and Daniel Elzy.

Meanwhile, Greenway put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Dysart. Considering Greenway has won three contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Greenway's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three games. As for Agua Fria, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
