Softball Recap: Winterboro Comes Up Short

Winterboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 25-0 to Wadley. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Wadley this season, with their most recent defeat being a 20-3 loss back in April.

Winterboro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Wadley, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13.

Winterboro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-0 loss against Woodland on the 4th. As for Wadley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-2 defeat against Fayetteville on the 5th.
