Pehrson Posts Huge Game in 58-20 Victory
Starting off the list is Murray's Sam Pehrson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pehrson rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns.

Underclassman K'Von Houston came into Wednesday's match looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. He was dynamite on Wednesday, throwing for 291 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 50 yards.
This season, Houston has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 143 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 15 passing yards per game.

He is becoming a predictor of Murray's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

Dearden Came Up Big in Stansbury's 56-21 Win
Coleman Dearden's big game helped extend Stansbury's winning streak to three on Wednesday. Nobody could stop Dearden as he threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes.
Tooele had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Dearden it was a similar story. When Dearden last faced the Buffaloes back in October of 2023, he threw for 288 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 40 yards.

On Wednesday, Stansbury got the W thanks in part to Noah Syphus playing the best football he has all season. Syphus rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
This year, Syphus has averaged 21.1 receiving yards per game.
