Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for West Valley

West Valley won the last time they faced Anderson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Cubs with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

One reason for the win was West Valley's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

West Valley's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Anderson, they dropped their record down to 10-18 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West Valley will face off against rival Lassen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Anderson is set to take on their familiar foe University Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
